The person in this role will act as a key contributor to the cybersecurity team, supporting the identification, analysis, and response to security incidents that may impact information systems and digital assets. The position plays an essential role in strengthening organizational resilience through structured response, investigation, and continuous improvement of incident response processes.
Main Activities:
• Monitor security tools, logs, and alerts to identify potential cybersecurity incidents;
• Analyze security events using forensic techniques to determine scope, impact, and root cause;
• Support containment and remediation actions to limit the impact of security incidents;
• Collect, preserve, and document digital evidence in accordance with internal and legal guidelines;
• Produce clear incident reports and technical documentation for internal stakeholders;
• Integrate threat intelligence information into incident analysis and response activities;
• Contribute to the development and improvement of incident response plans and playbooks;
• Participate in simulations, tabletop exercises, and post-incident reviews to enhance readiness.
Requisitos
We expect you to have:
• Knowledge of cybersecurity incident detection and response processes;
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection, and firewalls;
• Understanding of operating systems, network protocols, and common attack techniques;
• Experience with digital forensics, malware analysis, or threat investigation;
• Ability to produce structured technical documentation and incident reports;
• Bachelor’s degree completed in a technology-related field or equivalent;
• Advanced English proficiency;
• Availability to work onsite in Betim (MG), Brazil.
It will be considered a plus if you have:
• Professional cybersecurity certifications related to incident response or information security;
• Experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) or CSIRT environments;
• Knowledge of scripting or automation for security analysis;
• Exposure to cloud security environments and controls.
